Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

Quality Assurance Engineer at Array, ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of products used by millions of people. You’ll partner with engineering teams to help ship reliable, scalable software and improve testing across services and environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with squads building applications in Go, Node.js, and other stacks to ensure end-to-end quality.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs, microservices, and user-facing features.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with engineers to keep releases fast and reliable.
• Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to raise confidence at scale.
• Grow expertise in testing distributed systems, performance, and cross-environment reliability.
• Use AI tools to think, build, and ship faster (e.g., generating test cases/data efficiently).

Requirements

• Experience testing across multiple stacks, including Go and Node.js (also Java and C# experience).
• Track record building automated test frameworks for production systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on with containerized environments: Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Proficiency with databases for validation and backend quality: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB.
• Comfort using Generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot / LLM agents) to write cases and generate data without losing focus on the human element.

• Experience and depth in testing distributed systems and performance.
