Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

Join AgileGrid Solutions as a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of the company’s web and mobile applications. You’ll perform both manual and automated testing, improve test coverage, and help stabilize product releases.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across web and mobile
• Create and execute test plans and test cases, including exploratory and regression testing
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end test suites using TypeScript and Playwright
• Use AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate test authoring, maintain tests, and troubleshoot failures
• Work with AI-driven QA workflows (e.g., auto-generated test scaffolding, self-healing selectors, summarizing results)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback and continuous deployment
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira/Zephyr and communicate with development teams
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Participate in QA process improvements, including documentation and reporting

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience (manual + automation) for web and mobile
• Proficiency in building and maintaining automated end-to-end tests with TypeScript and Playwright
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Practical knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) for testing support
• API testing experience with Postman or RestAssured
• Backend database testing knowledge using SQL
• Familiarity with React (web testing) and Flutter (mobile testing)
• Strong understanding of issue tracking and test management with Jira and Zephyr
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Experience expanding AI-driven test workflows (self-healing selectors, test scaffolding generation)
• Experience improving QA methodologies, documentation, and reporting standards
