Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

You will ensure the quality and reliability of GrabJobs web and mobile applications through both manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough manual testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across web and mobile (functionality, usability, performance).
• Create and execute test plans and test cases, including exploratory and regression testing.
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end test suites using TypeScript and Playwright, translating manual cases into stable automation.
• Use AI-assisted testing tools to speed up test authoring, maintain tests, and troubleshoot failures.
• Implement AI-driven QA workflow improvements such as:
  • auto-generation of test scaffolding
  • self-healing selectors
  • summarizing test results
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback and support continuous deployment.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira/Zephyr and communicate clearly with development teams.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX to understand requirements and expand test coverage.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements in QA methodologies, documentation, and reporting.

Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on QA experience (manual testing + test automation) for web and mobile.
• Strong automation skills building end-to-end tests with TypeScript and Playwright.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) for test development/debugging.
• API testing experience with Postman or RestAssured and backend database testing with SQL.
• Familiarity with React (web testing) and Flutter (mobile testing).
• Proficiency with issue tracking/test management tools like Jira and Zephyr.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration; ability to work independently in a remote environment.
