Quality Assurance Engineer (Contract, Remote)

Location: Remote (United States) Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week

Responsibilities

Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation aligned with project requirements.
Execute manual testing including:
- functional, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing
- cross-browser testing for web apps
- mobile testing including the LINE app
Perform API testing and collaborate with developers to validate integrations.
Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools; write clear, actionable bug reports.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning to ensure quality throughout the SDLC/STLC.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are understood and met.

Strong experience in manual testing for web and/or mobile applications.
Proven ability to design and execute test cases, test plans, and test documentation.
Strong background in regression, functional, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
Experience with defect tracking/bug reporting and cross-browser testing.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile.
Hands-on experience with API testing and mobile app testing.
Excellent attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication.
