About the role

Role Overview

Quality Assurance Engineer (Contract) working remote for 10–40 hrs/week. You will be responsible for manual QA across web and mobile applications, including testing integrations via APIs, and ensuring quality throughout the SDLC/STLC.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation aligned to project requirements.
Perform functional, regression, user acceptance, exploratory, and cross-browser testing for web and mobile applications (including the LINE app).
Conduct API testing and collaborate with developers to validate integrations.
Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools; ensure bug reports are clear and actionable.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, support sprint planning, and help ensure quality deliverables across the SDLC/STLC.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are understood and met, using strong communication skills.

Requirements

Strong experience in manual testing for web and/or mobile applications.
Proven ability to design and execute test cases, test plans, and QA documentation.
Experience with regression, functional, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
Ability in bug reporting, defect tracking, and cross-browser testing.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Hands-on experience with API testing and mobile app testing.
Exceptional attention to detail and written/verbal communication.
