Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role Overview

Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (Remote) at Vsolutions Technologies. You will design and build automated testing and QA strategies to ensure new and existing features meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test architecture for complex software systems.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites for web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing for complex features and edge cases.
• Maintain an automated regression suite to validate bug fixes across browsers, devices, and operating systems.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of professional QA experience, including automation framework design and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Cypress (also mentions Selenium as an alternative).
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and experience with unit/integration testing.
• Advanced API testing and schema validation using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Experience testing distributed systems on AWS, including validation of SQS/SNS integrations with Lambda.
• Experience with modern code management and deployment workflows: GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Ability to validate data using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Experience with performance and scalability testing using JMeter or K6.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience across multiple architecture types in AWS and deeper contract-testing practices for API reliability.
