Role overview

Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at IgniteTech (Crossover), 100% global remote. The role is focused on AI-powered QA automation architecture rather than manual testing or basic automation scripting.

What you will be doing

Design and sustain AI-powered test automation frameworks that generate test cases, automation scripts, and test data for thorough validation
Use GenAI to evaluate test results, detect defect patterns, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement
Replicate user interactions, load scenarios, and boundary conditions to surface defects before they impact users
Leverage AI and automation to accelerate release cycles and minimize defects

Requirements (Basic)

AI-first mindset (use AI to verify/enhance code and workflows, not merely code-first then AI afterward)
At least 2 years of experience in QA automation, including experience testing AI products
Proficiency in Selenium and one of: Python, Java, or JavaScript
Professional experience using AI tools to automate QA workflows
Familiarity with CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins or GitHub Actions)
Experience leading teams of QA testers
