Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

GreenPath Financial Wellness is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of its web, mobile, and API-based technology solutions.

Responsibilities

Test Automation & Quality Engineering
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
- Build and maintain scalable, stable, maintainable automated testing frameworks.
- Create and manage test plans, test cases, and regression test suites.
- Execute automated tests and perform manual testing when automation isn’t feasible.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing for responsive behavior.
- Create and maintain test data for automated and manual testing.
Collaboration & SDLC Support
- Partner with development, QA, and DevOps teams on testing strategies across the SDLC.
- Work with developers to ensure APIs/interfaces are documented, testable, and automation-friendly.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in automation/quality code reviews.
- Document testing approaches, results, and known limitations clearly.
Defect Management & Process Improvement
- Identify, track, and verify defects and fixes.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure stability.
- Estimate testing/automation effort and manage multiple priorities.
- Promote QA best practices and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging testing tools/techniques, including AI-driven automation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience.
3+ years of software QA automation experience.
Experience with functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Hands-on API automation and front-end automation for web and mobile.
Experience maintaining and improving automation frameworks.
Proficiency with:
- REST API testing (e.g., Postman with Newman)
- Selenium with Maven or comparable frameworks
- Java (or similar) and an IDE (e.g., Eclipse)
- Azure DevOps source control (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
Ability to write basic-to-intermediate SQL queries.
Strong experience writing test plans/test cases and managing regression execution.
Experience using AI tools to improve automation quality and productivity.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
