Role overview

EBG is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst II / QA Automation Engineer to support both automated and manual testing. The role focuses on ensuring software meets high standards for functionality, performance, reliability, and compatibility, while partnering closely with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

Support regression testing for existing websites and applications
Create and maintain end-to-end test plans, execute them, and manage related activities
Test applications for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility (including legacy/external systems)
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using existing frameworks/tools
Update automation scripts as requirements change
Review bug fixes and enhancements to verify expected results
Create manual and automated test cases from requirements
Collaborate with developers to provide continuous feedback during development
Estimate task timelines, track progress, and meet deadlines
Assist and mentor QA team members in automation efforts

Requirements

5+ years of real-world QA experience
3+ years in test automation
Experience with Quality Management processes/tools
Hands-on testing of RESTful APIs (e.g., REST Assured libraries)
Proficiency in Java
Experience with Selenium and TestNG frameworks
Basic understanding of software design, development, and architecture
Knowledge of web standards, accessibility standards, and browser compatibility
Understanding of UX/UI principles
Ability to work in deadline-driven environments
Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with Git
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum

Nice to have / additional skills mentioned

Familiarity with MySQL, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Web Services, XML, JSON, and API integration tools like Postman or SOAP UI
Business process understanding and interest in new technology

Location / work setup

Role is primarily remote, but candidates must be located in Florida and able to travel to the Orlando office for the first day.
