About the role

Role Overview

EBG is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer / QA Analyst II to support a performance-driven team. The role delivers both automated and manual testing to ensure high standards for functionality, performance, reliability, and user experience.

Responsibilities

Perform regression testing for existing websites and platforms to ensure stability and performance
Create comprehensive end-to-end test plans, execute testing, and manage testing activities to meet project objectives
Test applications for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility (including legacy and external systems)
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using existing frameworks and tools
Analyze requirements and produce manual and automated test cases
Seamlessly switch between automation and manual testing as project demands change
Review bug fixes and enhancements to confirm expected results
Collaborate with developers for continuous feedback and improved software quality
Estimate testing timeframes and set realistic expectations for deliverables
Support and mentor QA team members on automation strategies and best practices

Requirements

5+ years of real-world QA experience
3+ years of test automation experience
Experience with Quality Management software and processes
Direct experience testing RESTful APIs; familiarity with REST Assured libraries
Proficiency in Java coding
Experience with Selenium and TestNG
Basic understanding of software design, development, and architecture
Knowledge of web standards, accessibility standards, and browser compatibility
Understanding of UX/UI principles
Ability to work in deadline-driven environments
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with Git version control
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice-to-Haves / Additional Skills Mentioned

Knowledge of MySQL, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Web Services, XML, JSON, and API integration tools (e.g., Postman, SOAP UI)
Business process understanding and passion for new technology
