About the role
Role: Quality Assurance Analyst II
EBG is seeking a hands-on QA professional to provide both automated and manual software testing to ensure quality for its software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support regression testing for existing websites.
- Create end-to-end test plans, execute them, and manage activities to meet project objectives.
- Test applications for:
- Functionality
- Performance
- Reliability and stability
- Compatibility with legacy and/or external systems
- Ensure every phase and feature is tested and issues are identified and fixed before release.
- Use existing frameworks and tools to develop and execute automated test scripts.
- Maintain and update automation scripts as requirements evolve.
- Assist QA Automation with mentoring team members on test automation.
- Produce manual and automated test cases from requirements.
- Switch between automation and manual testing as needed.
- Review bug fixes and minor enhancements to confirm expected results.
- Provide continuous iterative feedback to the developer team.
- Estimate task effort, track deadlines, and communicate expectations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of real-world QA experience.
- 3+ years of real-world test automation experience.
- Experience with QA quality management software and processes.
- Direct experience testing RESTful APIs and using REST Assured libraries.
- Strong automated test scripting skills: design, coding, debugging, and maintenance.
- Java coding experience.
- Experience with Selenium and TestNG.
- Foundational understanding of software design, development, and architecture.
- Advanced knowledge of web standards, accessibility standards, and browser compatibility.
- Understanding of UX/UI importance.
- Ability to work in deadline-driven environments.
- Self-motivated, organized, logical, and detail-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
Nice-to-haves / Other
- Must be located in Florida and be able to travel to an office for the first day.
- Hybrid work environment; role is primarily work-from-home/remote.
- No sponsorship and no hiring from outside the US.
