Role Overview

QA Tester (Future Roles) — Contract opportunities for manual testing of mobile apps and APIs/Web systems as they become available.

Typical Project Details

• Project focus: Manual testing of mobile apps and APIs (often within Agile teams); may include web/desktop.
• Contract length: Temporary 6 months to 1 year or ongoing; some projects extend and can become longer-term contractor work.
• Schedule: Part-time or full-time; work aligns with regional daytime hours (approx. 9 AM–6 PM local time).
• Timezone fit: Many roles follow CST (Americas) or CET (EMEA) core hours.

Location / Remote Policy

• Open to candidates in select countries in Latin America and beyond who can work fully remotely.
• Countries considered: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Estonia, India, Ireland, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Execute smoke, scripted, and exploratory test cases.
• Perform functional, localization, regression, and payment testing.
• Reproduce, document, and report issues (bugs and risks).
• Communicate findings clearly to development teams and stakeholders.
• Configure and prepare test environments per instructions.
• Design and optimize test data.
• Provide feedback on outdated/incomplete/inefficient test cases.
• Stay current with software testing methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a Software Tester (or similar) with strong testing principles/methodologies/tools.
• Hands-on experience with mobile and web application testing (backend testing is a bonus).
• Ability to identify and document bugs/issues.
• Can perform basic testing-related technical tasks (e.g., test data generation, log capturing, basic analysis using browser dev tools and network log tools).
• Experience collaborating in Agile teams remotely; strong communication with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of SDLC.
• Knowledge of functional and regression testing.
• Must have access to an Android or iOS device and a reliable high-speed internet connection.
