Role Overview

QA Test Engineer (Medicaid and Claims) — Remote

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and documentation, and create a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Validate test scenarios and test plans, including test data preparation/validation.
• Create test plans, test summary reports, and maintain traceability matrices.
• Assess current product functionality against market trends and regulatory requirements to plan future versions.
• Share and drive requirements with technical teams and architects for upcoming product features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including QA/dev teams, SMEs, BAs, clients, and end users.
• Communicate effectively (written and spoken) with diverse stakeholders to align on QA activities and expectations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of healthcare QA experience, especially in the MMIS domain.
• Strong ability to think creatively to develop new solutions as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and test against requirements, documentation, and regulatory needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience engaging multiple business units and end-user stakeholders.
• Experience validating product readiness for regulatory changes and future releases.
