QA / Test Engineer (Junior)

Location: Fully remote (open to candidates anywhere in the US)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a QA / Test Engineer who cares about details and takes quality seriously. You’ll partner with product and engineering teams to ensure what we ship works as intended, with strong focus on edge cases and continuous QA improvements.

Responsibilities

Write, execute, and maintain test cases for new features and existing functionality
Perform exploratory testing, regression testing, and smoke testing across release stages
Build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Report bugs clearly, including:
- steps to reproduce
- expected vs. actual behavior
- priority level
Work directly with developers to understand requirements and surface potential issues early
Help improve the QA process as the team grows

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in QA or software testing
Strong foundation in manual testing and test case design
Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Ability to write bug reports that are actionable for developers
Natural ability to think in edge cases

Nice to Have

Experience testing SaaS or HR tech products

Compensation

$34–$42/hour
