QA Manager

About the role

Join Carbmee, a climate tech company focused on business sustainability and carbon emissions management. As a QA Manager, you will own the quality assurance and release process, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and operations. You will define and evolve QA and release management processes, develop and maintain testing practices, coordinate testing efforts, and ensure smooth rollouts. You should have 3+ years of experience in QA or release management, experience working in cross-functional teams, and a passion for business sustainability. Key missions: Own the quality assurance and release process end-to-end, ensuring that products are stable, well-tested, and meet standards.. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to coordinate and lead testing efforts across cross-functional teams.. Define, own, and evolve QA and release management processes, developing and maintaining lightweight, scalable testing practices. Profile: - We’re looking for someone who thrives on making things work reliably and who gets satisfaction from catching issues before customers ever see them - If you’re passionate about quality, love managing the details without losing sight of the bigger picture, and enjoy working closely with engineers and product managers, then we’d like to hear from you - You prioritize structure, clarity and accuracy in everything you do - from planning to documenting processes - You are passionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and climate tech in alignment with Carbmee’s mission and vision - 3+ years of experience in QA, Release Management or similar roles - Experience working in cross-functional teams and enjoy collaborating with product and engineering - Clear and effective communication, whether it’s raising an issue or writing a test plan - You are excited to join our diverse and international team in Berlin or Munich - You have a proactive mindset & spot risks early, suggest process improvements, and advocate for the user - A solid grasp of release orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and managing staged deployments - Experience in a SaaS or B2B environment - You are comfortable designing and running both manual and automated testing workflows - Don't feel like you meet all the criteria?
