QA Engineer, Web / Frontend

Role overview

Ondo Finance is hiring a QA Engineer (Web / Frontend) to own quality end-to-end across its web and frontend product experiences. This is a high-impact role focused on building quality systems that prevent issues before users do, raising reliability as the product scales.

Responsibilities

• Own QA for web and frontend experiences end to end
• Build and maintain automated test coverage for critical user journeys
• Create reliable testing workflows using Playwright, Jest, and Percy
• Ensure quality for products used by institutional and retail customers
• Test complex frontend flows for perps, portfolio management, and other high-volume workflows
• Catch regressions early and improve release confidence
• Partner with engineers to improve quality throughout development (not just pre-launch)
• Establish QA foundations, tooling, and process as the company grows

Requirements

• Strong experience testing modern web applications
• Hands-on experience with Next.js, Playwright, Jest, and visual regression testing
• High-ownership mindset and strong product judgment
• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguous problems
• Ability to think clearly about quality in complex, high-traffic, user-critical systems
• Clear communicator who drives bugs to resolution and improves team quality habits

Nice to have

• Experience automating web3 flows such as wallet connections, signing, and transactions
