About the role

Role Overview

Envysion (Motorola Solutions) is seeking a QA Engineer to join an agile engineering team. The role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise video security and business analytics solutions for retail and quick-service restaurants.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute test cases; create and manage test plans
Set up and manage test environments that simulate real-world scenarios
Review test plans to ensure reliability and efficiency
Identify, record, track, and communicate defects with detailed, actionable information
Establish and continuously improve quality management system processes and procedures
Perform system setup, software installation/configuration, and integration of peripheral equipment (e.g., servers, cameras, devices)

Requirements

3+ years experience supporting commercial software applications
2+ years experience with Salesforce CPQ
Associate degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience
Experience with applications supporting customer order to service delivery
Relational SQL skills, including ability to run DML for testing
Proficiency writing high-quality functional tests (feature soundness and performance)
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and customer feedback
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (no sponsorship)

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Agile principles
Experience with Jira and TestRail
Automated testing of Salesforce configurations
Experience with serverless development
Testing PHP and Node.js web applications
