QA Engineer (Remote Development)

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, and acceptance testing to ensure product quality.
• Conduct thorough testing cycles to ensure release stability and readiness.
• Investigate, document, and report defects, prioritizing issues for resolution.
• Maintain, expand, and update manual test case scenarios as the product evolves.
• Own complex testing areas and drive quality improvements via proactive initiatives.
• Monitor automated test execution, troubleshoot failures, and optimize test processes.
• Contribute to UI test automation by maintaining and extending existing automated tests.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and identify risks.
• Update internal knowledge bases and help share expertise with the team.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in QA and testing.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to read and understand Java or Kotlin code.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong prioritization and workload management.
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with UI test automation frameworks.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile.
