About the role

Role Overview

Tradeweb is seeking a QA Engineer to join its remote technology team. You will perform manual and automated testing for trading, market data, and Straight-Through Processing (STP) applications within the Fixed Income Corporate Bond Trading platform.

Responsibilities

Review project specifications and create detailed test scenarios for full coverage
Develop and maintain automated test cases, including VeriFix-based testing for the FIX protocol
Execute manual and automated testing for trading, market data, and STP applications
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Troubleshoot issues by analyzing internal log files and performing root cause analysis
Write database scripts to analyze test results and support test scenario setup
Document and report defects and track issue resolution with cross-functional teams

Requirements

5+ years testing Fixed Income electronic trading systems
SQL proficiency, including writing complex queries
Experience with automated testing and scripting to improve testing efficiency
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing methodologies
Solid knowledge of Fixed Income markets and trading protocols
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently

Nice to Have

Familiarity with VeriFix and FIX protocol testing (explicitly referenced)

Work Model

Fully remote, with occasional visits to the Jersey City office for team meetings and off-sites
