QA Engineer - Remote

Role Overview

Join Envysion (a Motorola Solutions company) as a QA Engineer on the engineering team responsible for enterprise video security and business analytics. You’ll work in an Agile environment with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases for customer configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and comprehensive test cases
• Review test plans independently to ensure reliability and efficiency
• Set up and manage test environments that simulate real-world scenarios
• Validate customer configurations and identify defects
• Document and communicate defects with detailed, actionable information
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality management system processes
• Perform system setup, software installation, configuration, and peripheral/equipment integration
• Install/upgrade hardware and software components (e.g., servers, cameras, devices)
• Support automated testing initiatives, including Salesforce configuration and Apex deployments (optional but preferred)
• Contribute to/refine testing strategies and best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years supporting commercial software applications
• 2+ years experience with Salesforce CPQ
• Associate degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience
• Experience with applications supporting order-to-service delivery
• Relational SQL skills, including ability to execute DML statements for testing
• Strong ability to write high-quality functional tests to verify feature performance and robustness
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and incorporate customer feedback

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Apex deployments and Salesforce-based automation
