About the role

Role Overview

Joveo AI is hiring a QA Engineer (Remote) to own quality across product and engineering releases. You will design test strategies, prevent defects from reaching users, and help build a quality culture that enables fast shipping with reliable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test suites
Build end-to-end, integration, and regression test coverage for core product flows
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define acceptance criteria
File, track, and verify bug fixes with clear reproduction steps
Build and maintain test automation frameworks using modern tooling
Improve CI/CD by integrating automated tests into build and deployment processes

Required Qualifications

Strong experience with manual and automated software testing
Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
Ability to write test cases, test plans, and defect reports
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman or REST Assured)
Understanding of Agile development and QA integration within sprint cycles
Scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation

Nice-to-Haves

Experience expanding automation coverage across multiple core flows and teams (implied by end-to-end/integration/regression ownership)
