QA Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

Own quality across Joveo’s product and engineering releases. Design test strategies, uncover issues before users are impacted, and help build a quality culture that enables fast shipping without sacrificing reliability.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test suites
Create end-to-end, integration, and regression test coverage for core product flows
Partner with engineers and product managers to define acceptance criteria
File bugs, track them, and verify resolutions with clear reproduction steps
Build and maintain test automation frameworks using modern tooling
Improve CI/CD by integrating automated tests into build processes

Required Qualifications

Strong experience with manual and automated software testing
Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
Ability to write test cases, test plans, and defect reports
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
Understanding of Agile development and how QA integrates into sprint cycles
Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation

Nice to Have

Deeper experience expanding test frameworks and CI/CD test integration across multiple product areas
