About the role

QA Engineer (Remote)

Own quality across Joveo’s product and engineering releases. You’ll design test strategies, prevent bugs before users find them, and help build a quality culture that enables fast shipping with reliable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test suites
Create end-to-end, integration, and regression coverage for core flows
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define acceptance criteria
File, track, and verify bug fixes with clear reproduction steps
Build and maintain test automation frameworks using modern tooling
Improve CI/CD by integrating automated tests into build processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in both manual and automated software testing
Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
Ability to write test cases, test plans, and defect reports
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
Understanding of Agile development and how QA fits into sprint cycles
Scripting ability in Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation

Nice-to-have

Experience expanding test coverage and automation frameworks across multiple product/engineering releases
