QA Engineer - Ostro

Role Overview

QA Engineer for Veeva Ostro, bridging manual testing precision with automated QA efficiency. You’ll own software quality end-to-end with minimal oversight and help shape modern QA practices, including AI/LLM-based testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans for SaaS quality and reliability
• Identify, document, and track defects, partnering with development teams for rapid resolution
• Create and maintain test cases, scripts, and test data for functional and non-functional testing
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align on requirements and expected behaviors
• Research and implement AI-driven automation frameworks and LLM-based techniques to optimize testing
• Perform regression and performance testing to validate scalability
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments
• Provide clear test reports and stakeholder updates
• Drive continuous QA process improvements independently

Requirements

• 3+ years in software quality assurance
• Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python
• Ability to validate APIs (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
• Practical understanding of CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Strong interest in AI/ML-driven testing and willingness to experiment with LLM-based testing
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration with Dev, Implementation, and Customer Support teams
• Self-starter with ownership and problem-solving ability

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-driven test automation or LLM-based QA methodologies
• Knowledge of SaaS environments and web-based deployments
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP
