Role Overview
As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through thorough testing and validation. You’ll collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to define test requirements and drive successful delivery of high-quality releases.
Responsibilities
- Test planning & design:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
- Identify test requirements and create detailed test scenarios for end-to-end functionality.
- Test execution:
- Execute manual and automated test cases to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Document test results and identify defects.
- Defect management:
- Report, track, and manage defects in bug tracking tools.
- Work with developers on resolution and perform retests.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align on test objectives and requirements.
