QA Engineer

Role Overview

Join ClickHouse as a Senior Software Quality (QA) Engineer (Full Remote). You’ll improve the efficiency and quality of ClickHouse’s open-source and cloud products by building test automation and new testing strategies for complex distributed systems.

Key Missions

• Improve the efficiency and quality of open-source and cloud offerings.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks and develop automated test cases.
• Implement new testing and automation strategies for large, complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to test implementations end-to-end.
• Combine manual testing and automation testing approaches.
• Apply strong production debugging skills to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar SDET / Release Engineering / QA role, ideally for a database or distributed system.
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language: Python, Go, or C++.
• Extensive SQL knowledge.
• Ability to read C++ code for validation.
• Experience with manual and automation testing.
• Working knowledge of Git, Linux, and shell scripting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including with remote teams.

• Ability to learn complex technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.
