QA Engineer

Role Overview

Join ClickHouse as a Senior Software Quality (QA) Engineer. You’ll improve the quality and efficiency of ClickHouse’s open-source and cloud offerings by building automation, validating releases, and developing new testing strategies for complex distributed systems.

Key Missions

• Automate critical operational functions to ensure ClickHouse Cloud runs smoothly worldwide.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks and create automated test cases for both open-source and cloud products.
• Implement new testing strategies for large/distributed systems and evaluate new functionality for each release.

Requirements

• Strong technical background with experience in SDET, Release Engineering, or QA for a classical database or distributed systems.
• Solid production debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read C++ code for validation.
• Extensive SQL knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Git, Linux, and shell scripting.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on programming experience with at least one: Python, Go, or C++.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams (including remote).
