QA Engineer (Business Systems & Order Management) (US REMOTE)

Role Overview

QA Engineer for Business Systems & Order Management (US Remote) on a small agile team building scalable business operations systems for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team and influence product direction
• Plan, organize, and prioritize test cases and test plans
• Act as an independent reviewer of test plans to ensure reliable, efficient software delivery
• Set up and manage test environments to simulate real-world scenarios and validate customer configurations prior to release
• Record and communicate defects with clear, actionable details
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality management system processes and procedures
• Perform system setup tasks: software installation/configuration and peripheral device installation and integration
• Install and support new/upgraded hardware and software (e.g., servers, cameras, devices)

Requirements

• 3+ years supporting commercial software applications
• 2+ years with Salesforce CPQ
• Associates degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience
• Experience with applications supporting customer order-to-service delivery
• Relational SQL skills, including executing DML to support testing
• Ability to write high-quality functional tests verifying feature soundness and performance
• Adaptability to changing requirements and frequent customer feedback
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Agile principles and software best practices
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with TestRail
• Experience implementing/supporting automated testing of Salesforce configuration and Apex deployments
• Experience with serverless application development, deployment, and monitoring
• Experience testing PHP and Node.js web applications

Location & Work Authorization

• Remote within the US (candidate can reside anywhere in the US)
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; no sponsorship available
