About the role

Role overview

Join the Product Development Team as a QA Automation Engineer for Kyivstar’s customer support web application. You’ll work with a cross-functional group of product managers, analysts, developers, and designers to improve product quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
Perform manual acceptance testing and regression testing
Automate test cases and maintain/support existing automation frameworks
Document testing activities, create reports, and track issues
Contribute to test strategy and test plan creation aligned to project goals
Run integration testing across system components
Use SQL to validate data integrity and backend processes
Test web and mobile UI for usability and performance
Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

Requirements

2+ years of experience in QA automation (or related fields)
Strong automation skills with Selenium
Proficiency in Java
Experience with JMeter and SOAP UI
Solid understanding of manual testing for mobile and web UIs
Ability to develop test strategies and test plans
Knowledge of test design techniques and methodologies
Experience with integration testing
Basic SQL knowledge for database validation
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Understanding of RESTful APIs and automation testing
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Good working knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
