About the role

QA Engineer – Automation (100% Remote U.S.)

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Engineer – Automation to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain robust automated testing frameworks to improve engineering quality
Partner with development teams to expand test coverage
Embed automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Apply testing strategy including:
- Risk-based testing
- Exploratory testing
- Continuous testing in Agile environments
Perform data validation using SQL
Support debugging, problem-solving, and maintain clear documentation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
4+ years of QA automation experience
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Hands-on experience automating REST APIs
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle
Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
Solid SQL skills for validation
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Performance testing tools: JMeter, Gatling, k6
Containerized testing environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Cloud testing platforms: BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
BDD frameworks: Cucumber, SpecFlow
Security testing fundamentals: OWASP and basic penetration testing
