QA Engineer – Automation

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a QA Engineer – Automation to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. You will partner with development teams to expand test coverage, embed automation into CI/CD, and enable faster, more reliable software delivery in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks
• Expand test coverage in collaboration with engineering teams
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Support risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing
• Automate and validate REST APIs
• Use SQL to support data validation
• Debug issues and improve testing quality through analytical troubleshooting

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in QA (explicitly stated as 6+ years; also says “4 or more years” for QA automation)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, and/or Playwright
• Hands-on experience automating REST APIs
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD
• Solid SQL skills for data validation
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Performance testing: JMeter, Gatling, k6
• Containerized test environments: Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud testing platforms: BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
• BDD frameworks: Cucumber, SpecFlow
• Security testing fundamentals: OWASP, basic penetration testing

Employment Details

• Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
• Type: Full-time, Direct W2
• Salary: $115,000–$130,000 annually
