QA Engineer

Role Overview

GrabJobs is looking for a QA Engineer to join the Product & Engineering team. You’ll help ensure the quality and reliability of a recruitment platform by combining manual testing, automated testing, and AI-augmented testing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute comprehensive testing strategies (manual, automated, and exploratory).
• Review and validate AI-generated test results for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing on high-risk areas.
• Develop scalable automation using Playwright, following best practices such as the Page Object Model.
• Use AI tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot to:
  • generate test cases,
  • debug failures,
  • accelerate automation coverage.
• Own QA strategy for your squad, including test planning, risk assessment, and release readiness.
• Track defects, report issues, and provide actionable feedback for product improvements.
• Collaborate across the SDLC with development, product management, and customer support.
• Manage multiple priorities independently.

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA experience with both manual and automated testing.
• 2+ years hands-on with Playwright, or similar frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO) with willingness to ramp quickly on Playwright.
• Ability to create test plans, define testing strategies, and make risk-based release decisions.
• Familiarity with Xray integrated with Jira, plus strong Jira skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong cross-team collaboration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Extensive Playwright experience.
• Salesforce platform familiarity.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of AI testing concepts.
