QA Engineer

Join the Engineering team at Envysion (a Motorola Solutions company) in a small, agile environment building scalable solutions for enterprise video security and business analytics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to influence product direction and improve quality standards.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize test cases and test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of new features and updates.
• Independently review/validate test plans to ensure software reliability and efficiency.
• Set up and manage test environments to simulate real-world scenarios and validate customer configurations prior to deployment.
• Record, track, and communicate defects with clear, actionable details.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality management system processes and procedures.
• Perform system setups, software installations, hardware configurations, and integrate peripherals (e.g., servers and cameras).
• Support upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and assist with deployment activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting commercial software applications.
• At least 2 years of experience specifically with Salesforce CPQ.
• Associate degree in Computer Science (or equivalent professional experience).
• Strong understanding of order-to-service delivery workflows.
• Relational SQL skills.
• Ability to write comprehensive functional tests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Jira and TestRail.
• Automated testing of Salesforce configurations and Apex deployments.
• Experience testing web applications built with PHP and Node.js.
