About the role

Role Overview

Super.com is hiring a QA Engineer II to validate that applications meet design specifications and requirements. You’ll work in Agile teams to develop and execute test strategies and scenarios, provide manual QA guidance across product areas, and help drive operational quality metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a manual test library using existing test infrastructure and product documentation
  • Develop, extend, and maintain test automation and QA tooling
  • Integrate AI-based tools/processes to improve both manual and automated testing outcomes
  • Own product pipeline health and rapidly identify/blocking issues to resolution
  • Document MATs (manual test artifacts), QA tooling, and quality engineering processes

Product Quality (Facilitating)

  • Verify new features meet acceptance criteria and design specifications
  • Ensure features are robust for edge cases and work well with existing functionality
  • Identify opportunities to replace manual QA with automated coverage
  • Partner with teams to create tools that speed up tasks and improve coverage
  • Monitor quality metrics to drive continuous improvement

Owning User-Reported Issues

  • Triage user-reported issues and feedback (internal and customers)
  • Identify actionable issues and drive them to remediation

Owning Product Bug Triage

  • Ensure bugs have clear reproduction steps and acceptance criteria
  • Confirm an E2E test after developers fix issues
  • Own and groom the bug backlog
  • Prioritize based on impact, severity, and frequency (with PMs/TLs)
  • Maintain a bug stack ranking, ensure tickets are ready (repro + acceptance criteria)
  • Ensure bugs are acted on in line with Bug SLA and that each ticket has an assigned Risk Value

Requirements (Mandatory Qualifications)

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrable experience using AI-based tools for quality engineering
  • Strong manual testing skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Solid test design and test planning skills
  • High ownership mindset; ability to work independently and drive quality in assigned areas
  • Experience working in an Agile team
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle and where QA fits
  • Experience designing, maintaining, and writing automated front-end test cases
  • Ability to collaborate with developers, PMs, and designers
