QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

Join AssetWorks as a QA Automation Engineer to help build a test-driven, quality-first culture for the M5 platform. You will partner with engineering teams to raise quality standards, modernize testing approaches, and leverage AI-driven agents to design, generate, execute, and optimize test cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end scenarios
• Use AI-driven agents to generate/execute/optimize test cases, analyze results, and improve defect detection efficiency
• Support manual regression and functional testing for enterprise features (web apps, reporting, integrations)
• Develop and implement AI-assisted testing strategies to increase coverage, accelerate cycles, and reduce manual effort
• Perform installation, upgrade, and validation testing across supported environments to ensure stability and performance
• Collaborate with engineering teams in planning, story grooming, and design discussions to embed testability and quality early
• Review product/business requirements to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Create, maintain, and continuously improve test plans, test cases, and automation assets
• Execute tests, record results, and communicate status and risks to stakeholders
• Write defect reports, track issues in defect management systems, and partner with developers
