Role Overview

QA Automation Engineer (Remote) (full-time)

You’ll join ArcheSys’s core engineering team to help deliver robust, scalable enterprise application solutions, with a strong focus on automated quality engineering and full-cycle feature delivery.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Feature Delivery: Design, build, and maintain features across the application using .NET backends and React/Next.js frontends.
• Rigorous Testing & QA Automation: Architect and implement automated testing suites with comprehensive unit and integration tests to prevent regressions.
• Database & Query Optimization: Write efficient SQL, design relational schemas, and optimize query/data-access layers.
• Type-Safe Web Development: Build interactive UI components using TypeScript and modern frontend architecture.
• Agentic AI-Assisted Engineering: Use agentic AI tools to accelerate delivery and automate testing boilerplate.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum delivery cadence.

Requirements

• Eligibility/Clearance: Must be a U.S. person (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or EAD). Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance (or low-level security clearance) and pass background checks; maintain eligibility (including periodic drug screenings).
• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years hands-on professional software engineering experience
• Testing & Engineering Skills:
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks/strategies
  • Unit/integration tests using tools such as xUnit, NUnit, Jest, or Cypress
  • SQL design, querying, and optimization
  • .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) backend architecture
  • TypeScript and modern JavaScript development
  • React and Next.js
  • Comfortable with agentic AI-assisted development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
• API & Platform:
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework Core, Dapper)
  • Experience building/consuming/testing RESTful APIs
  • Familiar with Git workflows
  • Basic experience with Azure services and hosting
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum
