QA Automation Engineer (Remote)

Role

QA Automation Engineer (Remote) at ArcheSys Inc. Fully remote, full-time position focused on building robust, scalable enterprise application solutions with strong emphasis on quality and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack feature delivery across the application lifecycle using .NET backends and React / Next.js frontends
• Rigorously test and ensure quality by architecting and implementing automated test suites (unit and integration tests)
• Database and query optimization: write clean SQL, design relational schemas, and optimize queries/data access layers
• Type-safe web development using TypeScript to build interactive UI components
• AI-assisted engineering using agentic AI tools to accelerate delivery and automate testing
• Cross-functional collaboration with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum cadence

Requirements

• Eligibility/Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold EAD; must be able to obtain a low-level security clearance and pass background checks (including periodic drug screenings)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or related)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on professional software engineering
• Testing: Automated testing frameworks; unit & integration tests using tools such as xUnit, NUnit, Jest, or Cypress
• Backend: .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core)
• Frontend: TypeScript, React, Next.js
• Data: SQL and relational DB/ORM experience (e.g., Entity Framework Core or Dapper)
• APIs: Experience developing/consuming/testing RESTful APIs
• Version control: Git
• Cloud: Basic experience with Azure services/hosting
• Agile: Experience working in Agile/Scrum
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-haves

• Comfortable using agentic AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
