Role Overview

QA Automation Engineer (United States) working within a cross-functional agile product team to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of modern web applications. You will combine manual and automated testing, contributing to end-to-end QA from planning through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for product quality and reliability
  • Plan and execute test strategies, including test scenarios, regression testing, and acceptance testing
  • Perform manual testing as needed to validate UI and user experience
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers in an agile team
  • Monitor and improve existing test automation frameworks and CI/test pipelines
  • Conduct integration and API testing to validate system interactions and performance
  • Document test results, generate reports, and track defects for timely resolution
  • Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools for better efficiency and coverage

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in QA automation or software testing
  • Strong automation skills with Selenium and Java
  • Experience with performance and API testing tools such as JMeter and SOAP UI
  • Solid knowledge of manual testing principles for web and mobile UI
  • Experience designing test strategies, test plans, and applying test design techniques
  • Knowledge of integration testing and RESTful API testing methodologies
  • Basic understanding of SQL and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication/collaboration
