QA Automation Engineer

Role overview

You’ll join a cross-functional product team to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of modern web applications. The role combines manual and automated testing, with ownership of QA processes from planning through execution in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure product quality and reliability
• Plan and execute test strategies, including:
  • test scenarios
  • regression testing
  • acceptance testing
• Perform manual testing to validate UI and user experience
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers in an Agile team
• Monitor, maintain, and improve existing QA automation frameworks and CI/test pipelines
• Conduct integration and API testing to verify system interactions and performance
• Document test results, generate reports, and track defects for timely resolution
• Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools for better efficiency and coverage

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in QA automation or software testing
• Strong proficiency with Selenium and Java for test automation
• Experience with performance and API testing tools such as JMeter and SOAP UI
• Solid understanding of manual testing principles for web and mobile UI
• Experience designing test strategies and test plans using test design techniques
• Knowledge of integration testing and RESTful API testing
• Basic understanding of SQL and web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
