QA Automation Engineer (ClassWallet)

Role overview

Build quality into the software delivery process by combining strong manual testing with test automation. You’ll help establish testing practices that support fast, reliable, continuous delivery, with a shift-left approach across the SDLC.

Responsibilities

Perform manual exploratory testing for new features while building automated test scripts for long-term stability
Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright or Selenium
Participate in agile ceremonies and advocate with a strong “QA voice” for quality deliverables
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to clarify acceptance criteria and testability
Use exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
Analyze test results, report bugs, and work with developers for timely resolution
Investigate defects to help isolate root causes and drive resolution
Advocate for shift-left testing and continuous improvement in quality processes

Requirements

5+ years in software QA with a focus on automation
Experience performing both manual and automated testing
Proficiency with Playwright or Selenium
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Expertise in at least one programming/scripting language
Solid understanding of Agile and a Shift-Left mindset

Preferred requirements

Experience with AWS (preferred cloud platform)
