Role Overview

QA Automation Engineer (100% Remote - U.S.)

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. You will partner with development teams to expand test coverage and accelerate confident software delivery.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web, APIs, and distributed systems
Expand test coverage in collaboration with development teams
Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Apply testing strategy such as risk-based testing and exploratory testing
Ensure strong quality engineering practices in Agile/Scrum environments

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
4+ years of QA automation experience
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Hands-on experience automating REST APIs
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle
Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
Strong SQL skills for data validation
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Performance testing tools: JMeter, Gatling, k6
Containerized test environments with Docker and Kubernetes
Cloud-based testing platforms: BrowserStack, Sauce Labs
BDD frameworks: Cucumber, SpecFlow
Security testing fundamentals: OWASP and basic penetration testing

Location / Work Authorization

Role is 100% remote within the United States
Sponsorship available for U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates
