QA Automation Engineer

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. This is a 100% remote, full-time in-house W2 role aligned to the company’s internal SOW delivery roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts covering critical business flows and edge cases.
• Implement API automation using REST-focused tools/frameworks.
• Create and maintain regression, smoke, sanity, and functional test suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD so they run reliably on every change.
  • Examples: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing with attention to compatibility and performance.
• Validate data integrity end-to-end using SQL queries.
• Work with developers to shift quality left, improve testability, and catch defects early.
• Support performance testing initiatives using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Maintain test documentation, traceability, and defect tracking records.

Requirements

• 4+ years of QA automation experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with modern automation frameworks/tools such as:
  • Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium.
• Experience with API testing automation (e.g., REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of QA strategy, including:
  • risk-based testing
  • exploratory testing
  • continuous testing in Agile environments.
• Ability to write maintainable automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD.
• Willingness to work directly as a full-time W2 employee (no C2C/1099/third-party).

Nice-to-haves

• Cross-browser/cross-platform performance and compatibility focus.
• Experience with database validation and end-to-end SQL verification.
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter/Gatling/k6).

• Employment type: Full-time, direct W2 (in-house SOW engagement).

• Assessments: A mandatory technical coding assessment is required.
