About the role

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. You’ll partner with development teams to expand test coverage, embed automation into CI/CD, and enable faster, more confident software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
Write robust, maintainable automated test scripts covering critical business flows and edge cases
Implement API automation using REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or equivalent frameworks
Create and maintain regression, smoke, sanity, and functional test suites
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) so tests run reliably on every change
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing with attention to compatibility and performance
Validate end-to-end data integrity using SQL (database validation)
Collaborate with developers to improve testability, identify defects early, and shift quality left
Support performance testing efforts using JMeter, Gatling, or k6
Maintain test documentation, traceability, and defect tracking records

Requirements

4+ years of hands-on QA automation experience
Strong experience with modern automation frameworks and testing strategy
Ability to run cross-browser/cross-platform testing and maintain reliable automated suites
Experience integrating automation into CI/CD
Willingness to participate in a technical coding assessment (mandatory)

Nice-to-Haves / Additional Signals

Experience with distributed systems testing
Familiarity with risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing in Agile environments
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter/Gatling/k6)

Employment & Location

100% Remote (Continental United States)
Full-time, direct W2 employment (no C2C/1099/third-party)
Long-term, multi-year in-house SOW engagement aligned to delivery roadmap
Salary: $100K–$150K base + benefits
Sponsorship: No new H1B sponsorship; H1B transfers welcomed
