QA Automation Engineer

Join Bright Vision Technologies to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks across enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. You’ll partner with development teams to increase test coverage, embed automation into CI/CD, and enable confident, continuous software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing
  • e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
• Develop maintainable automated tests covering critical business flows, edge cases, and regressions
• Implement API automation using tools such as REST Assured and Postman/Newman
• Create and maintain test suites: regression, smoke, sanity, and functional testing
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Run cross-browser and cross-platform testing with focus on compatibility and performance
• Validate data with SQL to ensure end-to-end integrity
• Collaborate with developers to “shift quality left”, improve testability, and identify defects early
• Support performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or k6
• Maintain test documentation, traceability, and defect tracking

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in QA automation
• Strong hands-on experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Practical understanding of testing strategy, including:
  • Risk-based testing
  • Exploratory testing
  • Continuous testing in Agile environments
• Ability to integrate automated tests reliably into CI/CD
• Willingness to work directly as a full-time W2 employee of Bright Vision Technologies (no C2C/1099/third-party)
• Technical coding assessment is mandatory

Nice to have

• Experience across enterprise distributed systems
• Exposure to performance and compatibility testing tools (JMeter/Gatling/k6)
