About the role

QA Automation Engineer (Anaconda AI Platform)

Join Anaconda’s Quality Engineering team to ensure product reliability across Web, CLI, and API platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and create automated test scripts for Web/CLI/API using Playwright, Python, and TypeScript
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) to enable fast releases and prevent regressions
Perform white-box testing: identify, debug, fix defects across front-end and back-end codebases, and conduct impact analysis
Develop performance/load testing strategies using tools like Locust to validate scalability
Conduct code reviews and help set/maintain PR standards for automation best practices
Apply testing best practices at the unit and integration levels
Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to standardize testing and improve automation efficiency

Requirements

5+ years creating automated test scripts for Web, CLI, and API applications
Strong proficiency with Playwright and Python
Experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or similar: Jenkins/GitLab/AWS CodePipeline)
Ability to contribute bug fixes to both FE and BE repositories
Strong software design skills for maintainable, production-quality code
Experience with Linux command line and scripting for test automation/build processes

Nice to Have

Advanced Playwright/Python skills and ability to design scalable automation solutions
Experience with code review workflows and contributing to production code
Experience building AI agents and using AI tools (e.g., Cursor)
Load testing experience with Locust or JMeter
