QA Automation Engineer (Hourly Contract)

Location: Remote (United States)
Hours: 10–40 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks as project requirements evolve.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to create effective automated test cases.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Analyze test results and contribute to continuous QA improvements.
• Document automation workflows and communicate technical findings clearly.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, or related programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
