Python Software Engineer (Contract)

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex, production-grade Python systems for real-world environments.
Design modular, testable codebases using modern Python practices with FastAPI and Pydantic.
Optimize Python performance using profiling and memory optimization techniques.
Collaborate asynchronously with AI research teams to improve model training and evaluation.
Work independently to meet deadlines and help enhance AI model performance.

Requirements

Experience working at top US tech firms.
Proven track record with complex Python systems.
Strong understanding of Python fundamentals.
Experience building modular, testable Python codebases using modern practices.

Interview Process

90-minute technical interview focused on Python.
Feedback provided within two weeks.

Compensation & Work Setup

Hourly contractor rate: $100/hour.
Remote engagement: 20 hours/week for 1 month.
