Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Contract, Remote)

Help train next-generation AI systems by building and improving the software that shapes how AI models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience isn’t required—strong engineering and domain knowledge are the key.

Responsibilities

Build and extend software features for AI-related systems using real-world inputs
Debug complex issues and deliver maintainable solutions
Refactor and improve existing codebases
Optimize for performance and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
Participate in rigorous code reviews and help establish best practices

Requirements

Proficiency in Python 3, Java, Rust, or TypeScript
Additional experience in C++ or Go is a strong asset
Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance tuning
Proven experience delivering feature development and refactoring
Demonstrated ability to optimize software for performance and scalability
Excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

Experience with large-scale, distributed codebases
Familiarity with modern AI/ML systems (not required)
Experience contributing to software best practices through code reviews
