About the role

Role Overview

You will join a customer’s team as a Senior Software Engineer (Contract, Remote). The work focuses on engineering contributions that help train next-generation AI systems, improving how models learn, reason, and perform through real-world input.

Responsibilities

Build and improve software to support AI training workflows and model performance.
Develop features and refactor existing codebases to keep them maintainable.
Debug complex issues and deliver reliable solutions.
Optimize systems for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
Participate in rigorous code reviews and contribute to software best practices.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python 3, Java, Rust, or TypeScript (one of these as the primary strength).
Additional experience in C++ or Go is a strong asset.
Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance tuning.
Proven ability to write maintainable code and deliver quality engineering outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication and high attention to detail.

Nice to Have

Experience with large-scale distributed codebases.
Familiarity with modern AI/ML systems (not required).
Experience working within teams that follow strong engineering processes and best practices.
