About the role
Role Overview
AquSag Technologies is seeking an expert Python + Go Developer to support AI training initiatives. This is a remote, full-time role focused on building and improving cross-language AI training infrastructure (Python and Go), including major codebase migrations and system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable, production-grade solutions using Python and Go.
- Lead and execute codebase migrations/rewrites between Python and Go with minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and software engineers to build/enhance AI training infrastructure.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including automation and testing, to deliver production-ready code.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmaps for cross-language systems.
- Communicate clearly via documentation, status updates, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor engineers on interoperability and migration strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering, with substantial experience in both Python and Go.
- Proven production experience with codebase migrations and system rewrites between Python and Go.
- Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to deliver independently in a remote, distributed team.
- Experience integrating solutions across multiple language ecosystems.
- Availability for at least 6+ hours overlap with Eastern Time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in AI / Machine Learning / Data Engineering on large-scale projects.
- Experience mentoring teams or leading complex migration projects.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD best practices.
